A chance to break barriers within your local community and take action against social problems and injustices. Young people are given a crash course on; understanding the power of social action, building a social action campaign, brainstorming and planning what you can do. This is an opportunity to inspire others make a positive difference where you live.
SEEFF launched a pilot in association with Believe Project to encourage young people to take action. Following two session of training, the first fundraising event took place on 31st July 2010 at the Garden Full of Family Delights event. There were wonderful raffle prizes from restaurant meals for two to pamper nights for six in your own home – all donated by local businesses and supporting Operation Rise, which is aiming to send ten thousand sets of crutches to amputees in Sierra Leone this September.
