"Since the launch of the Government’s Inter-Faith Strategy members of the SEEFF interim steering group have been working with representatives of the Government Office SE (GOSE), the SE England Development Agency (SEEDA) and Regional Action and Involvement SE (RAISE) in order to secure funding for SEEFF to undertake the scoping exercise for SEEFF as discussed at the SEEFF Conference in Guildford on 7 April 2008. The proposal put before the Department of Communities and Local Government (DCLG) is now on the website for members to view.

I am happy to confirm that I have now heard from David Rayner of DCLG that our proposal has been successful in securing funding. Details of how the proposal will be developed will be presented at the SEEFF Conference on 26 November 2008."
